Roles & Responsibilities

• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, performance benchmarks, and best practices.

• Contribute to system architecture and design discussions for new features and platform improvements.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues to ensure system reliability and availability.

• Optimize application performance and address scalability challenges in distributed systems.

• Work with databases and data models to support efficient data storage and retrieval.

• Use version control systems to manage code changes and collaborate effectively with the team.

• Continuously learn new tools, frameworks, and technologies aligned with Swiggy’s engineering roadmap.

Requirements & Eligibility

• B.Tech graduates from 2024 or 2025 with a background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.

• Strong programming fundamentals with hands-on knowledge of Java and/or Go.

• Understanding of backend development concepts such as APIs, services, and system design basics.

• Basic knowledge of databases and data modeling principles for backend applications.

• Familiarity with distributed systems concepts and interest in working with modern backend technologies.

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an added advantage.

• Working knowledge of version control systems like Git for collaborative development.

• Strong problem-solving abilities with an analytical mindset.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
