Job Description

Sapiens is seeking a Quality Analyst to join its technology team in Bangalore, focusing on ensuring the reliability and performance of enterprise software solutions used across the global insurance and financial services industry. As a leading provider of software platforms for insurance companies, Sapiens develops integrated digital systems that manage policy administration, billing, claims processing, and business intelligence solutions. In this role, you will play an important part in validating the quality of software products that power mission-critical operations for insurance organizations worldwide.

The role involves planning, designing, and executing test cases to validate that applications meet both functional and performance requirements. You will analyze business requirements, translate them into comprehensive testing scenarios, and ensure that systems operate correctly across client-server environments. The position requires strong expertise in manual testing and an understanding of system architecture, database structures, and software workflows. Through systematic testing processes, you will help identify defects early and contribute to delivering stable and reliable software releases.

Additionally, the Quality Analyst will collaborate with business analysts, developers, and system architects to ensure that product requirements are clear and testable. You will perform multiple types of testing including regression testing, performance testing, load testing, stress testing, and integration testing to validate product functionality and performance. By maintaining detailed documentation, executing test procedures, and tracking defects using industry-standard tools, you will contribute to maintaining high product quality standards across Sapiens’ global software solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute comprehensive test cases to validate software functionality and system performance.

• Develop and maintain detailed test procedures based on business requirements and system documentation.

• Perform multiple types of testing including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, performance testing, load testing, and stress testing.

• Execute manual testing scenarios across client-server environments to validate application behavior.

• Conduct both black-box and white-box testing techniques to identify defects and verify system logic.

• Analyze database structures and write SQL queries to validate data accuracy within application workflows.

• Participate in requirement review meetings with developers, business analysts, and system architects to ensure requirements are testable.

• Track and report software defects using defect tracking tools while ensuring proper documentation and resolution.

• Validate defect fixes and verify system enhancements through repeated testing cycles.

• Maintain testing documentation, test data sets, and execution reports to support quality assurance processes.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 3–4 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance roles.

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies including functional testing, regression testing, and integration testing.

• Experience performing performance, load, and stress testing to validate system stability.

• Knowledge of black-box and white-box testing techniques for validating application logic.

• Ability to write basic to intermediate SQL queries involving multiple database tables for backend validation.

• Familiarity with client-server architecture and enterprise software environments.

• Experience using defect tracking tools for logging, monitoring, and resolving software defects.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying and debugging system issues.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional development teams.

Expected Salary

The typical salary for a Quality Analyst with 3–4 years of experience in product-based or enterprise software companies in India generally ranges between ₹8 LPA to ₹15 LPA, depending on technical expertise, domain experience, and familiarity with testing tools and database validation. Candidates with strong testing skills and exposure to financial or insurance platforms may receive higher compensation packages.
