Job Description:

IQVIA is hiring a DevOps Engineer 2 to join its technology team in Bengaluru, contributing to the development and optimization of cloud and on-premise infrastructure. Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions across cloud and on-premise environments to support enterprise applications.
  • Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery processes.
  • Create and manage standardized development environments to improve consistency and productivity across teams.
  • Build and optimize monitoring systems to track application performance, detect issues, and ensure system reliability.
  • Implement fault-tolerant systems and disaster recovery mechanisms to enhance system resilience.
  • Perform system maintenance, upgrades, and migrations while minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve software lifecycle processes.
  • Provide tools, frameworks, and best practices to support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • Stay updated with emerging DevOps tools, cloud technologies, and industry best practices to drive innovation.

Requirements & Eligibility:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure management.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including deployment and monitoring of applications.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes for managing scalable applications.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
  • Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar technologies.
  • Understanding of monitoring and logging tools to track system performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to handle complex infrastructure challenges.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, learning, and adopting new technologies.
