As an Analyst, Planning & Scheduling, the candidate will be responsible for managing workforce schedules, generating staffing models, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring operational efficiency across business units. The role involves working with Workforce Management (WFM) tools such as eWFM, IEX, or Alvaria to administer schedules, manage staffing requirements, monitor intraday patterns, and support workforce planning activities. Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and maintain workforce schedules to ensure efficient resource allocation and operational productivity.
- Utilize Workforce Management (WFM) tools such as eWFM, IEX, or Alvaria to administer scheduling activities and workforce planning processes.
- Generate, optimize, and review Intraday Patterns (IDP) to align workforce schedules with operational requirements.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders and operational teams to gather scheduling requirements, priorities, and project timelines.
- Recommend staffing and headcount adjustments by analyzing workload trends, scheduling scenarios, and operational demands.
- Monitor scheduling mailboxes and manage real-time schedule changes, exceptions, leave requests, and workforce adjustments.
- Support automation initiatives for shift creation, schedule optimization, and time-off approval processes.
- Analyze workforce performance trends and leverage data analytics to improve scheduling efficiency and operational effectiveness.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workforce management processes and reduce manual interventions.
- Work with SQL, Power BI, and reporting tools to generate workforce insights, operational dashboards, and scheduling analytics.
- Collaborate with teams in fast-paced operational environments while ensuring scheduling accuracy and service delivery standards.
- Explore AI-driven workforce optimization strategies and automation technologies to improve operational planning capabilities.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree or graduation in any relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
- Good understanding of Workforce Management (WFM) concepts, scheduling operations, and resource planning processes.
- Experience working with WFM tools such as IEX, Alvaria, or eWFM will be highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting applications.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and Power BI for operational reporting and workforce analytics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder coordination and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work effectively in a 24/7 shift-based operational environment.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities for handling dynamic workforce scheduling challenges.
- Ability to multitask, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing business priorities.
- Understanding of automation concepts, workforce optimization techniques, and operational process improvement strategies.
- Exposure to leave management systems, scheduling tools, or contact center operations will be advantageous.
- Self-motivated attitude with willingness to continuously learn new technologies, operational tools, and scheduling methodologies.
Expected Salary
The expected salary for the Analyst, Planning & Scheduling role at Concentrix in Bangalore generally ranges between ₹4 LPA to ₹8 LPA depending on prior workforce management experience, expertise in WFM tools, analytical capabilities, and communication skills.
