As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and debug software systems that power optical networking products. You will work closely with product management, design, and cross-functional engineering teams to create customer-focused solutions. The role involves writing clean, functional C/C++ code, performing unit testing, participating in code reviews, and ensuring reliability and scalability. You will apply Agile engineering practices across the software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design implementation, and acceptance testing, while continuously improving development processes.

Beyond core development responsibilities, you will execute performance and reliability tests, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute ideas that enhance product innovation. Familiarity with networking protocols, embedded system concepts, and AI frameworks is an advantage. Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Develop high-quality software using C/C++ following secure coding standards and best development practices.

2. Participate in requirement analysis, design discussions, coding, and unit testing within Agile environments.

3. Collaborate with product management and design teams to deliver customer-focused optical networking solutions.

4. Debug, test, and troubleshoot software issues during development and in production systems.

5. Execute scale, reliability, and performance testing to ensure robust system behavior.

6. Contribute to code reviews and address feedback to maintain high coding standards.

7. Apply secure coding principles and review peer code for compliance and quality.

8. Assist in implementing technical design features under guidance from senior engineers.

9. Continuously improve development processes and suggest innovative product enhancements.

10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share knowledge and resolve technical challenges effectively.

Requirements & Eligibility:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

2. Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming for system-level or networking applications.

3. Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for debugging and troubleshooting.

5. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code with proper documentation.

6. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in collaborative engineering environments.

7. Familiarity with networking protocols is preferred.

8. Strong foundation in embedded system concepts is an added advantage.

9. Exposure to AI tools, frameworks, or methodologies is desirable.
