Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering

  • Conduct detailed business analysis including process mapping, gap analysis, and requirement elicitation.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and refine operational processes.

  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.

Project & Solution Support

  • Support project managers in defining project scope, objectives, and success criteria.

  • Participate in solution design discussions to ensure alignment with business goals and regulatory standards.

  • Assist in defining implementation strategies and project delivery approaches.

Testing & Implementation

  • Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Prepare test cases and support the resolution of defects during testing cycles.

  • Contribute to adoption strategies including training materials and communication plans.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare detailed documentation such as:

    • Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)

    • Process flow diagrams

    • Impact assessments

    • Project status reports


Required Skills & Knowledge

Analytical & Technical Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with capability to interpret complex data.

  • Familiarity with business analysis methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or Lean.

  • Experience with business analysis tools like:

    • Microsoft Visio

    • JIRA

    • Confluence

    • Excel

    • Power BI

Domain Knowledge

  • Understanding of banking operations and financial services processes, including:

    • Customer onboarding

    • Lending and payments

    • Operational workflows

    • Compliance and regulatory requirements

Risk & Controls

  • Basic knowledge of risk management and control frameworks within regulated financial environments.
