As an Associate Systems Engineer, the candidate will be responsible for supporting 24/7 Azure-hosted SaaS platforms while ensuring system stability, operational efficiency, security, and high availability. Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide 24/7 operational support for Azure-hosted SaaS platforms to ensure system availability, stability, and high performance.
  • Support Azure infrastructure administration including compute services, networking, security configurations, storage management, and identity services.
  • Assist in managing containerized workloads and Kubernetes environments for scalable and reliable application operations.
  • Participate in deployment activities, release management, and planned maintenance operations with minimal customer impact.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure-related and application-level production issues while coordinating escalations with relevant engineering teams.
  • Support Oracle and Cassandra database environments, including basic administration, monitoring, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and platform teams to improve operational efficiency and platform reliability.
  • Maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and support procedures for production environments.
  • Monitor system health, cloud resource utilization, and platform performance to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Support Java-based applications by analyzing logs, troubleshooting runtime issues, and assisting development teams during issue resolution.
  • Contribute to CI/CD deployment workflows and cloud operations processes within production support environments.
  • Ensure compliance with governance standards, operational best practices, and security requirements across SaaS infrastructure.

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical fields.
  • 1–3 years of experience in systems engineering, cloud operations, SaaS support, or infrastructure management roles.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure administration including compute, networking, storage, identity management, and security fundamentals.
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized application environments for platform operations and deployment support.
  • Basic scripting experience using PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation and operational support tasks.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and GitHub version control workflows.
  • Experience supporting Oracle and Cassandra database systems, including troubleshooting connectivity and performance issues.
  • Understanding of Java-based application support, log analysis, and runtime troubleshooting processes.
  • Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting abilities for diagnosing infrastructure and application issues.
  • Ability to work effectively in shift-based or 24/7 production support environments.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional global engineering teams.
