Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and develop detailed Quality Engineering test plans, automation strategies, and test cases for web, mobile, API, and enterprise software applications.
• Collaborate with software developers, project managers, and business teams to ensure software products meet performance, functionality, and quality expectations.
• Perform functional, system, integration, regression, and exploratory testing to identify defects, improve stability, and enhance user experience across applications.
• Develop and maintain automation testing frameworks using tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cucumber-JVM, Appium, and Java-based automation libraries.
• Execute API and web services testing using Postman, SOAPUI, REST APIs, and related testing methodologies to validate backend system functionality.
• Conduct performance and load testing using tools like JMeter to analyze application scalability, responsiveness, and reliability under different workloads.
• Integrate automation testing workflows with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other DevOps tools to support continuous testing and faster release cycles.
• Utilize SonarQube and related code quality tools to identify vulnerabilities, maintain code quality standards, and improve software reliability.
• Work with Generative AI tools and AI-assisted coding technologies to improve automation efficiency, debugging, and software testing productivity.
• Analyze testing results, track defects, prepare testing reports, and communicate project status updates to stakeholders and project managers.
• Participate actively in agile development processes including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and collaborative problem-solving activities.
• Continuously improve testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and software quality processes to support high-quality product delivery.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline from a recognized institution.
• 1–2 years of experience in Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), Quality Engineering, Automation Testing, or software testing-related roles.
• Strong programming knowledge in Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript with the ability to build scalable automation frameworks and testing utilities.
• Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Appium, Cucumber-JVM, and related QA automation technologies.
• Familiarity with API testing tools including Postman and SOAPUI along with practical understanding of REST APIs and web services testing concepts.
• Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter and knowledge of application scalability and performance optimization testing methodologies.
• Good understanding of CI/CD integrations, Jenkins pipelines, and DevOps-oriented software testing workflows within agile environments.
• Knowledge of software quality assurance processes, defect management systems, testing metrics, and automation framework architecture design.
• Exposure to Generative AI technologies, AI-powered coding tools, or machine learning-assisted development processes will be considered an added advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking, debugging capability, and problem-solving skills to handle complex testing scenarios and software quality challenges.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and fast-paced engineering teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and consistently deliver high-quality work within tight project timelines.

Expected Salary
