In this role, you will work alongside experienced Site Reliability Engineers to build and maintain resilient infrastructure on cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will contribute to observability systems, optimize Kubernetes-based microservices environments, and support CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments. The role also involves troubleshooting distributed systems, performing root cause analysis, and implementing long-term fixes to improve system reliability. You will gain hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation tools, and modern DevOps practices.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance observability systems, including logging, metrics, and distributed tracing, to monitor system performance and reliability.
  • Design, provision, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Optimize Kubernetes-based microservices orchestration, improving resource allocation and system efficiency.
  • Perform incident response activities, including root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Pulumi to automate infrastructure management.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable, secure, and efficient software deployment processes.
  • Develop internal tools and services to automate operational workflows and reduce manual intervention.
  • Contribute to AI-driven operations initiatives by implementing automation using advanced tools and agent-based systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance across distributed systems.
  • Participate in design reviews, post-mortems, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational excellence.

Requirements & Eligibility:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, providing a strong foundation in software engineering.
  • 0–2 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Systems Engineering, or Software Development roles.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python or Go, with a focus on systems-level development.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux systems and networking concepts including DNS, HTTP/S, and load balancing.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure and eagerness to deepen expertise in cloud technologies.
  • Experience or exposure to containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Pulumi is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a curiosity-driven approach to debugging and system optimization.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in an Agile environment.
  • Interest in emerging technologies such as AI-driven operations, LLM-based workflows, and automation tools is a plus.
