The Job
We are looking for a QualityTest Engineer to ensure that testing and quality practices are embedded in the software development lifecycle from design to release You will work within a team to ensure quality is builtin from inception to customer benefit realization
What youll be doing
Embed automation testing into the development process where applicable
Support CICD efforts proposing test automation tooling and infrastructure in collaboration with developers
Contribute to tech strategy by providing insights on software quality and automation
Stay updated with new test automation technologies and plan for strategic changes
Write automated tests that are technically deep and resilient to UI changes
Identify quality requirements by working with development teams to understand business needs
Provide training and workshops to inspire developers and product owners to be qualityconscious
Evaluate internal testing tools and introduce new ones to improve ROI
What youll bring
At least 3 years of experience in a hightech environment in a similar role
Proficiency in at least one language Python Perl Java Javascript C C or C
Expertise in frameworks such as JUnit TestNG Mockito Selenium Postman or JMeter
Experience with CICD pipelines and source control tools like Jenkins GitHub or GitLab
Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals algorithms and data structures
Clear understanding of various methodologies unit integration smoke performance regression and security testing
Knowledge of SOAMicroservices and web architecture in distributed systems
