Job Description:

Lexsi Labs is hiring a Vibe Coding Engineer (Frontend) to join its cutting-edge AI research and product team focused on building safe, interpretable, and scalable AI systems. This role sits at the intersection of rapid prototyping and real-world product development, where engineers are expected to transform ideas into working applications at high speed. You will work on building MVPs, customer demo applications, and enterprise use-case solutions that showcase the real impact of AI technologies such as large language models (LLMs), agents, and structured data systems.

In this role, you will leverage modern rapid-development tools such as Lovable, Emergent, and other AI-assisted or low-code platforms to accelerate product development. However, the focus is not just on speed but also on building reliable, extensible, and production-ready applications. You will be responsible for creating end-to-end solutions, including frontend interfaces, backend integrations, APIs, workflows, and AI system integrations. This requires a strong understanding of both product thinking and engineering fundamentals to ensure that prototypes can evolve into scalable solutions.

Additionally, you will collaborate closely with product, research, and go-to-market teams to identify high-impact use cases and convert them into functional applications. This role demands creativity, ownership, and the ability to work in ambiguous environments where requirements are often evolving. By building fast yet stable applications, you will directly contribute to accelerating product innovation and demonstrating the value of Lexsi Labs’ AI capabilities in real enterprise scenarios.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Build fast, functional applications and MVPs that demonstrate AI-powered use cases for customer demos, enterprise workflows, and internal tools.
• Use rapid development platforms such as Lovable, Emergent, and other AI-assisted tools to accelerate application development without compromising quality.
• Design and develop frontend interfaces that are intuitive, responsive, and aligned with real-world product use cases.
• Work across the full stack, including backend systems, APIs, data integrations, and AI model integrations, to deliver complete solutions.
• Translate abstract ideas, business requirements, and product concepts into working applications within short timelines.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and research teams to identify high-value opportunities and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure that prototypes are built on scalable and maintainable architectures, enabling easy transition to production-ready systems.
• Reuse components, design patterns, and architectural frameworks to improve development speed and maintain consistency.
• Continuously improve application performance, usability, and reliability through testing and optimization.
• Stay updated with emerging AI tools, frontend technologies, and rapid development frameworks to enhance productivity and innovation.

Requirements & Eligibility:

• Strong foundation in software engineering, including frontend development, backend systems, APIs, and application architecture.
• Proven experience in building working applications, MVPs, or prototypes that go beyond basic mockups and demonstrate real functionality.
• Hands-on experience with modern frontend technologies such as JavaScript, React, or similar frameworks for building interactive user interfaces.
• Familiarity with rapid development tools, low-code platforms, or AI-assisted coding environments that enable faster prototyping.
• Strong understanding of product design and user experience, with the ability to create intuitive and effective application flows.
• Experience working across the full stack, including integrating APIs, databases, and third-party services into applications.
• Ability to make sound engineering decisions, balancing speed and quality when building applications under tight timelines.
• Comfort working in ambiguous environments, with the ability to take ownership and drive projects from concept to completion.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering practical and scalable solutions.
• Bonus: Experience with AI-driven applications, enterprise systems, workflow automation, or taking prototypes to production.

Expected Salary:

The expected salary for a Vibe Coding Engineer at a startup like Lexsi Labs in India typically ranges between ₹10 LPA to ₹25 LPA, depending on experience, technical depth, and ability to deliver high-impact solutions quickly.
