Definitive Healthcare, through its Analytical Wizards division, is hiring an Analyst (Data Science) in Bangalore for candidates passionate about analytics, data-driven decision-making, and building impactful solutions. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data science components, including analytics pipelines, visualization modules, and BI solutions to support business objectives.
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient Python code to build scalable data processing and analytics systems. Ensure maintainability and performance.
• Design and develop backend libraries and reusable components for data science applications, improving development efficiency.
• Work with SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from databases, ensuring accuracy and consistency in data outputs.
• Troubleshoot application issues, debug code, and resolve software defects to ensure smooth system functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and product teams, to deliver integrated solutions.
• Apply object-oriented programming (OOP) principles to design modular and scalable applications.
• Assist in building dashboards and reports that provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement processes to maintain high-quality standards.
• Stay updated with the latest data science tools, technologies, and best practices to enhance solution capabilities.

Requirements & Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. Strong academic foundation in programming and data concepts is essential.
• 0–1 year of experience in data science, analytics, or software development roles. Freshers with relevant projects are encouraged to apply.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis, scripting, and backend development. Ability to write clean and efficient code is required.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL for querying and managing relational databases.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and their application in real-world projects.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools or BI platforms is a plus, enhancing analytical capabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and develop effective solutions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with different teams.
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot application issues efficiently.
• Interest in healthcare data analytics or experience with claims data is an added advantage.
