Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop, document, and maintain detailed functional test cases, test data, and validation scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage across applications.

• Design and implement test strategies, define testing standards, and contribute to building master test plans aligned with project requirements.

• Execute test plans effectively, ensuring that all testing objectives are met and that the application functions as expected before release.

• Perform backend database testing using SQL queries to validate data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems.

• Identify, document, and track software defects with precision, ensuring proper communication with development teams for timely resolution.

• Conduct functional testing across multiple integrated systems to ensure seamless interaction and system performance.

• Collaborate with Scrum teams, including developers and project managers, to provide feedback and ensure alignment with project goals.

• Utilize test management tools such as JIRA and ALM (Zephyr) to manage test cases, track progress, and maintain transparency in testing activities.

• Ensure that all deliverables meet functional and design specifications while adhering to organizational QA standards and best practices.

• Participate actively in Agile and Waterfall SDLC processes, ensuring quality is maintained throughout the development lifecycle.

• Analyze business and technical requirements to create effective and structured test plans that address all critical scenarios.

• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and team members to ensure timely delivery and alignment of expectations.

Requirements & Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A strong educational background supports effective understanding of software systems.

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in QA engineering, with a strong focus on ERP system testing. Experience in enterprise applications is highly preferred.

• Proficiency in test management tools such as JIRA and ALM (Zephyr) for tracking test execution and managing defects.

• Strong experience in backend testing using SQL, including writing queries to validate data and ensure system accuracy.

• Good understanding of SDLC methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, and the ability to work effectively within both frameworks.

• Experience in functional testing across multiple systems, ensuring seamless integration and performance.

• Exposure to automation testing is a plus, providing added advantage in improving testing efficiency.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and think critically about solutions.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently as well as within a team, manage deadlines, and adapt quickly to complex environments. A proactive and positive attitude is essential.
